I've visited this fishery several times and have tried various types of fish - always fresh and delicious. The chips are made from locally sourced potatoes. The portion sizes are very generous. I once ordered haddock with chips and mushy peas and the serving was so big I couldn't finish it! I definitely recommend stopping by.

Really nice fish and chips at a good price for Whitby . Everything is locally sourced including potatoes , information on a board tells you the boats that caught the fish and the farm that provides the spuds. Well worth a visit and better fish and chips than some of the Whitby big names . Recommended.

The best fish and chips in Whitby. Fresh light fish, crispy batter. On the wall it says where the fish and potatoes are from each day. Best thing is it’s a takeaway but they have inside seating to use for free, dog friendly and a bathroom, so all the convenience of a restaurant without the fuss!
