A good traditional pub serving the best craft ale around. Best bitter £3.40 a pint, also very quaffable organic cider. Friendly locals and a sunny sitting out area. Very handy for public transport. No phones in the pub There is a pool table and darts in the vault. No dogs in the pub but plenty outside. All in all a perfect Sam Smith's pub

A nice traditional pub in the heart of Whitby high street, opposite boots and super drug. Social distancing maintained as you can go around the side to enter the 'garden'. Table service was swift, you do have to pay by cash however so be prepared. Cash points on the high street.

Old-fashioned, Samuel Smith pub (hence no photos). Pool table (a bit run down) and darts board available, plus relatively cheap drinks.
